What we Believe in:

Charis Gospel Family World Outreach is a charismatic, non-denominational church. Our core beliefs include:

1.  We believe the Bible is inspired and empowered by God, infallible and authoritative.

2.  Inspired Word – Every Scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16).

3.  Nature of God – There is one God, all things existing through and by Him.

4. Creation – Humanity was created by God and in the image of God (Genesis 1:27-31; 2:4-25).

5.  New Birth – Man fell through the sin of Adam, separating the intimate relationship between man and God (Genesis 3:1-24; Romans 3:10-24). There is only one way to receive forgiveness of this sin and to be redeemed back to God, and that is through His Son, Jesus Christ (Acts 2:21; 4:12; 16:31; Romans 10:8-13; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

6.  We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

7.  We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus. The infilling of the Holy Spirit is for every believer on the earth, and is distinctly separate from the born-again experience. Speaking in tongues is the initial, physical evidence of this gift (Acts 2:1-4; 10:46).

8.  Gifts of the Holy Spirit – The nine gifts of the Holy Spirit as stated in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 should be in operation in the local Church today (Hebrews 13:8) for the edifying of the Church (1 Corinthians 14:40).

9. Prayer – Every believer should have a continual Word and prayer life (Joshua 1:8; 1 Timothy 4:15; 2:1-4; 1 John 5:14, 15; John 16:24).

NOTE: It is difficult to tell all we believe in 9 sentences. Listening to our teachings will give you much more information. We appreciate your interest in growing in the things of the Lord.
