Handling life's situation .
Whenever you are not winning in any circumstances, it means that the word of God is not prevailing or overcoming in you at that moment.
We need to make God's word our reality and truth.
Matt 14:22-31
Just before this, Jesus fed 5,000 men with bread and fish. He had done several miracles before, so the disciples had witnessed his awesomeness.
Note that it was Jesus will/mandate/ instruction for the disciples to go over to the other side.
Roman's 8:28-30, Eph 1:3-4
It was God that chose us and predestined us. It has nothing to do with our role or action. So It is God's responsibility to cater for you when He chooses and sends you in Christ.
You should not look to yourself to overcome circumstances, but you should look at the one who called you and sent you. Start looking at yourself based on who called you and that is in you.
God doesn't speak idle words, (ie talk for the sake of talking. ) When he told his disciples to cross to the other side, it wasn't just for talking sake, but because Jesus could already see them on the other side.
2 cor 1:20
Passage contd:.
When the disciples got to the middle of the sea (though following Jesus' instruction), they got stuck and tossed about and became afraid by the storm and wave.
The word of God quoted does not work, but the one settled in your heart and that you believe in, will surely work. The disciples, while in the storm, saw Jesus and didn't recognize him. You need to know Jesus and recognize him in every situation. You can't wait to be in a circumstance to start quoting the word of God.
Matt 28:18-19
John 1:1-3
Col 1:16
God created everything and all was created for Him and He is in you. So you have the power and authority over everything.
So the storm that bothered the disciples in the boat wasn't created by Jesus.
When Jesus told them to go over to the other side, everything He created aligned to that purpose. You need to understand God for who He is. As He is your shepherd psalm23, nothing can go wrong especially when He sends you.
Psalm 139:7-10
Wherever you go, God is always with you. He will never leave or forsake you. God has put His ability in you and relies on you to focus on Him and His word and expects you to solve the situation yourself. Just like He told Peter that he can walk on water and he did.
The devil's main objective is to make you shift your attention from God's word, and point you to the storm or any other thing as long as its not Gods word.
Romans 8:32
All limitations you see are man made. Because of God in you, you should change it.
Do not handle life issues the way the world does. Handle it guided by the word of God. To you that believe, all things are possible. Like Peter, you can walk on the word.
Rom 12:2.
Do everything to see yourself exactly like God, contrary to how the world and Satan would rather have you view yourself.
God is telling you today to cross to the other side.
His ability is at work in you. You have received of His fullness. You are one with Him. He will take care of you, He is responsible for you. He is your shepherd!
